That's so funny. I was obsessed. Mrs. New's class. 1983-4, I think. Yours is one of the few faces I remember from that class. Wasn't your dad in the music department at UCA or Hendrix? Did you go on to Conway Middle School the next year? I can't remember if you were in 6th grade with us or not. It was such a big change and I had a whole new group of friends.
Yes my dad was!! Sadly my parents divorced the summer after 5th grade and I moved to Louisiana with my mom for middle school. But I totally remember us being good friends. I’ve lived in nyc since 1991 but my Dad is still in Little Rock.
I'm glad my memory is still halfway decent. I was pretty sure I didn't see you again after Sallie Cone. My parents still live in the same house a few blocks from the school. My sister is an assistant principal there. It's preschool only now and about 5 years ago they tore down the old 1950s-era building we were in. That seems like a million years ago, and WAS, I guess.
